Seniors Daryl Jimenez & Lyric Brown Earn Full QuestBridge Scholarships to Prestigious Universities

P-TECH Norwalk is proud to announce that two of our seniors have been selected as Match Scholars through the prestigious QuestBridge National College Match!

P-TECH Norwalk seniors Daryl Jimenez and Lyric Brown have been admitted to Duke University and Columbia University, respectively, with a full four-year QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship. This year, QuestBridge’s 55 college partners matched with 2,550 Finalists, who are recognized as Match Scholarship Recipients. In addition to their high school diplomas, both Daryl and Lyric will also be earning an Associate of Applied Science Degree from CT State Norwalk in May 2026.

This incredible achievement reflects their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. We at P-TECH Norwalk celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to the bright futures ahead of them.

Each Match Scholarship Recipient receives early admission and a full four-year scholarship to a QuestBridge college partner, ensuring for these students and their families that an education at a top college is affordable. The Match Scholarship - provided by the school - is made up of a generous financial aid package that covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing and food, books and supplies, and travel expenses. The Match Scholarship does not include loans or a parental contribution. This year’s Match Scholarship Recipients represent all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, as well as the territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Puerto Rico.
