Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT)
The PSAT is a preview of the SAT which most students take before applying to colleges. The PSAT is given at BMHS annually in October. All sophomores and juniors are automatically registered for the PSAT.
For juniors, the PSAT acts as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. For all students, the PSAT provides feedback on their strengths and weaknesses in elements of reading, writing and math in preparation for the SAT.
